Smaller than its Vancouver counterpart, this often-overlooked airport served 502,000 passengers last year. The Fraser Valley is 72 km (43 miles) from Vancouver and only a five minute drive off of Highway #1.
WestJet, Airspeed Aviation, BC West Air and Transat Holidays all fly out of Abbotsford, connecting Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria, Nanaimo and Boundary Bay directly.
Visitors have access to wireless internet access while waiting at the airport through Opti-Fi Networks. Unfortunately, it’s not free and costs range from $8.95/day CDN plus tax to $34.95/month CDN plus tax.
Transportation To and From Abbotsford International Airport
Transportation options incorporate pre-booked shuttles to the Vancouver International Airport, the Cruise Ship Terminal at Canada Place (Vancouver), Alpine Motor Inn, Ramada Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre, and Rio Motel in Abbotsford.
